Langham Industries is a major UK engineering group renowned for supplying high-quality products and services to the marine, motorsport and defence sectors.

The first task was to re-imagine the company logo. And as the client wasn’t looking for a totally new idea it seemed appropriate to just refresh the main propeller logo mark and typography. I produced both an outline version and a solid version of the propeller. The client opted to use both with the outline version being used just on the website.

The dark blue colour palette was kept similar to the original, with the addition of a lighter blue to add some variation on the website and enhance the nautical theme.

The next challenge was in how to display all the company profiles on the homepage, which at the time of writing this case study is nine. After some experimentation, I opted for a grid of images using a flip-box function. This was a great space saver and quickly allowed a visitor to scan all of the companies on offer.

The website has been designed to be an online brochure and to provide an overview of the company and its separate companies.
