Integrum Power Engineering is a UK based electrical engineering design and build contractor specialising in Power Distribution projects in the power supply, industrial and rail sectors. They offer a comprehensive range of Power Distribution engineering services, from feasibility studies and detailed design through to installation, testing & commissioning, as well as turnkey solutions encompassing the full project life cycle.
The business covers numerous electrical based services so it was going to be tough to pin point an idea that would cover everything. So with this in mind, I decided that a more general view of electricity would most suitable for the business logo design. Therefore my main idea focus included electrical symbols, electrical pylons and electricity symbolism.
Because the majority of competitor businesses use blue as their corporate colour, I elected to use orange which symbolises strength, endurance and energy.
The final design features a stylised ‘N’ that is based on a classic electrical symbol. This mixed with bold typography and the burnt orange colour significantly sets it apart from the competition.
