Answers to common questions
Yes. If you already have a website developer then I’m more than happy to provide just the design part. I can work closely with you and your developer and provide all the necessary web files. These are usually supplied as PSD files.
Absolutely. Location is not important. Some of my clients are based all over the UK and it works fine! If you are based overseas then we can still work together as well.
Don’t worry, the process can be straight forward. Once I have all the information I need and we’ve agreed on the cost, schedule, etc. – we’re off. You do of course need to supply content and constructive feedback at certain points, so it’s definitely a case of teamwork. The hardest part is finding a designer to work with, and hopefully, you have done that!
Website design can be seen as a basic commodity sometimes. And the rule of thumb with anything is that you get what you pay for. Many web designers that offer lower-priced sites may seem like good value but you need to ask yourself – why are they priced so low?
The fact is that they will use a basic off-the-shelf template and offer little creative input. The site will end up looking like a hundred other sites and a year down the line you will probably want to change it. There will be little SEO input and poor marketing expertise to advise you on how best to promote yourself and your services. There is also a possibility that your new site won’t be responsive, which means it won’t resize for tablet devices and mobile phones.
So think carefully before parting with your money. Employing a good designer can save you time and money in the long run.
Site engine optimization can help increase your audience size across the web. Increase the conversion ratio of the audience to user, and change users into customers. It’s about making sure that customers can find your information as easily as possible. Therefore let that information guide a user towards becoming a customer.
I offer an optional add-on where I’ll find the best keyword phrase(s) for your business to be added to your website. This will provide you with a good start to getting good search engine rankings on Google and Bing. Ultimately to drive more traffic to your way.
